From insight to decision

The right gas. The right context.

This tool builds on the HibouAir article about gas monitoring in modern data centers. It turns the topic into decision support tailored to the equipment you select.

01

Start with the source of risk

Technology, battery chemistry, refrigerant and ventilation determine what needs to be assessed.

02

Look at measurements together

Compare gas trends with temperature, humidity, particles and operating logs. A single reading rarely gives the whole picture.

03

Separate environmental insight from safety alarms

This is a qualitative screening tool, not a completed risk assessment. HibouAir does not replace certified gas alarms or protection systems. The site risk assessment and applicable Swedish/EU requirements guide the engineering design.

Sources and limitations

Sources checked October 7, 2026. The risk links and monitoring considerations are compiled for planning. OSHA/NIOSH sources provide technical background, not Swedish regulatory requirements. Measurement range, selectivity, cross-sensitivity, calibration and response time must be verified with the supplier. No automatic alarm thresholds or risk scores are calculated.

No monitoring equipment is connected to this page. The overview shows potential risks based on your selections and does not determine whether a space is safe.

Where HibouAir fits

Choose the gas channel that matches the task

Duo Extended variants combine an additional gas channel with CO₂, particulate matter, temperature and humidity measurements. Each variant has its own gas configuration.
